Doctors & Staff

Meet the experienced and friendly doctors and staff who make Lakeshore Vision Center the leading provider of vision care products and services in Algoma and Kewaunee.

John Gorz, O.D.

Dr. John Gorz has called Algoma his hometown his entire life.

After graduating from Algoma High School, he got his college degree in biology at the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh.

Especially rewarding was being able to join his father, Dr. Arthur Gorz, in practice in Algoma. Soon after, the practice expanded by adding a location in Kewaunee.

Dr. John’s additional talents have made him an active participant in remodeling projects at the office where he has even built his own frame boards among other things.

Otherwise he keeps busy following his children’s activities and beekeeping (a hobby he picked up from his father)
